Flannery and ALCO Style Flexible Staybolt Sleeves and Caps

We offer a full range of Flannery and ALCO style Caps and sleeves for your locomotive projects. These components are fully machined from solid round, boiler spec material with full traceability and MTRs. Our standard offerings are listed below, and we can customize these components to suit your specific needs. Such as: Hex or Square heads on caps, thicker sleeves for extended usable life, and engraved heat-lot information on each component. Example pictures are shown below.

Please Note: At this time we do NOT manufacture rigid or flexible staybolts for customers. This is because the type of steel required for these components is not readily available outside of a few vendors. If you are in need of staybolts or staybolt materials, Please contact Strasburg Mechanical Services or The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. If a customer supplies us the correct materials we can work with you on a case by case basis to machine them to your specs. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
