Huffman Machining Solutions takes quality control as seriously as any other precision manufacture should. Quality control measures are applied as appropriate to each job to verify conformance to customer requirements. Inspection and verification methods may vary from job to job, and inspection processes can be tailored to meet specific customer needs beyond our standard inspection practices when required.
Some common inspection and verification methods include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review of applicable drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Verification of material traceability and review of material test reports when required.
- Measuring features, dimensions, and tolerances using appropriate inspection equipment ranging from basic hand tools, specialized gages, and advanced measuring equipment.
- Visual inspections for workmanship, defects, and other surface issues.
- First Article and In process inspection checks as appropriate during manufacturing.
- Pre- and post-processing checks as applicable.
- Final inspection prior to shipment when required by customer or contract.
